Thumb Drive Printer

Lexmark wanted to use a thumb drive to seamlessly transfer files for printing from a computer to a printer. It seems like a straight-forward thing to do but it was more complicated then you could imagine.
This was a situation in which a technology was looking for a problem. Remember, thumb drives were very popular then and they also came with pre-installed applications.
